Responsible for strategic planning within the College of Engineering and create alliances with other Villanova colleges. I work to broaden the college’s role in on campus and outside of the University activities. Develop and implement strategic academic support infrastructure within the engineering college. Manage VESTED summer and pre-college program to diversify overall enrollment. Oversee the enrollment relationship between the Admissions office and the College of Engineering. Work with engineering departments to establish a globalization agenda for the engineering college. Expand corporate relations with alumni and companies that support the University. Establish reciprocal agreements with local colleges that do not offer an engineering degree. Enhance collaborative relationships between the College of Engineering, K12 schools and corporations

Director: Computer Technology Institute Metropolitan Career Center, Philadelphia, PA. October 2001- September 2003
Responsible for the administration of a 15 month associate degree program in computer hardware or software. Managed the daily operation and strategic planning for enrollment, marketing, instruction, and advising of students. Fulfilled all requirements of the programs accrediting agency ACCSCT, which included an Annual Report, Self Evaluation Report, New Degree Program, and accrediting agency visits. Managed, recruited, supervised, and evaluated staff of 20 administrators and faculty. Prepared proposals and periodic reports for the Unites States Department of Education, Department of Public Welfare, Pennsylvania Department of Education, and Department of Health. Responsible for establishing articulations with Drexel University, and other colleges in the Delaware Valley. Monitored and developed an annual budget for more than $2,000,000 to implement the Metropolitan Career Center Computer Technology Institute programs.
Director: SUCCESS Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA. April 1988 – September 2001
Responsible for the administration of a State of Pennsylvania, Department of Education ACT 101 program. The program serves 320 engineering and science students from economically disadvantaged and underprepared backgrounds. As director, I provided yearly academic support, which included recruitment, individual assessment of programs for students, and structured academic and cultural programming. Planned, implemented, and evaluated a summer program for 50 pre-college students. Managed partnerships and relationships that strengthen collaborations among colleges in this effort.
• Served as Principal Investigator for three National Science Foundation Grants. Maintained coalition partnership with several national universities.
• Responsible for the implementation of a strategic plan that increased minority engineering graduation rates. Achieved a graduation rate of 70% compared to a national graduation rate of 35%.
• Partnered with three Philadelphia School District clusters implementing a Gear Up program, which prepared 7- 8th grade students for college.
• Prepared federal and state proposals requiring details of program activities fostering the student transition from high school to college. Fund raise and monitored $300,000 budget for the administration of the SUCCESS program.
Assistant Director: Academic Achievement Program (ACT101) Philadelphia University, Philadelphia, PA. July 1983 - April 1988
Responsible for the administration of a 205 student Academic Achievement Program, which provides support services for underprepared students. Recruited 30 new students annually.
• Planned, implemented, and evaluated the summer program. Coordinated recruitment, retention, and graduation activities for economically disadvantaged students.
• Selected, supervised, and conducted written evaluations of professional staff. Provided career planning and development for all students.

Provided instruction for corporate professionals in the Delaware Valley. Courses are taught over five week sessions. Topics include: Organization Management, Management 101, Public Speaking, Cultural Diversity, and Business Writing

This National Science Foundation program sought to double the number of minority graduates in the Delaware Valley.

Served as the Drexel University representative for a coalition of colleges, which included University of Pennsylvania, Florida International University, Ohio State University, Columbia University, and the University of South Carolina.
